I have an idea and I was wondering if someone could tell me whether it would work on here or if I'm overestimating what a Wiki can and will do. I have no idea what exactly a Wiki is or how to work one but from what I've seen of this site, I believe it should and would work. I just hope Lazeez doesn't kill me becuase I have a feeling my idea, if done, might take up all kinds of space somewhere. (eek!)

As the subject states, it's what I call a story tree. I got the idea from a site that was up ten years ago called TheYarn.com... It's no longer there, don't look for it. The idea came originally from a series of books that were out when I was a kid. You would read a page or two of the story and then you would be given a decision.

Example:

If you believe Johnny should peek up Michelle's dress, go to page 32

If you believe Johnny should go into the woods with Mike, go to page 12

End example.

My idea would work much the same way. Someone, probably me, would come up with an opening for the story and at the end put in two links (the decision). Someone else would (hopefully) come along, read my first part, make a decision and then go and write more onto the story and place another choice of where the story should go at the bottom. Someone else could come along, make the OTHER decision and write it, again, leaving a decision for someone else to make at the bottom. Then a third person would come in, read the first part, make a decision, read the second part, make another decision and then add a third, putting yet another decision at the end.

So there would be one chapter 1.
Two chapter 2's.
four chapter 3's.
eight chapter 4's
and so on and so on.

Will it work? Would anyone else care to try it? Anyone want to explain to me how to set it up? :)

I have always wanted to do a similar thing. Say, for example, (during the make out) Mary panted but suggested to stop there because she still wanted to remain a virgin until she's 18 years old. Now what will John do?

a) He follows Mary's suggestion. They stop ... then?

b) He can't stop. He forces it... then?

It can be a huge tree branching from one decision alone. Subsequent decisions may cross into those on the other branches. For example, for decision a) above:

a1) They keep on platonic make outs until Mary gets to 18;

a2) They split; John fucks every girl he dates; he's happy he has dumped Mary;

a3) They split because that night Mary finds love in her brother who pops her cherry;

a4) The next day Mary cries to John, saying her brother had popped her cherry by force;

a5) They make out the next day, and Mary is so horny she breaks her own principle; (many branches, but one is a6.711 below'

a6) Mary's mom finds John that night, and they fuck like bunnies. Mary sees it. She's mad; she goes to John's house and seduces John's dad, and they also fuck like bunnies. --> (a6.711) They live happily since and enjoy orgies with both families.

b256) Even though John forces it, Mary loves it so much that -> (a6.711) they live happily and enjoy the orgies with both families.

The difference about doing it on Wiki (against on your web page) is that there can be unlimited outcome from one decision alone, which can be added by authors with their own tastes and imaginations. The key is the outline and structure. How can it be displayed and linked appropriately. I have no clue.
